I've been inspired recently by a few blogging Mamas out there to start one of my own and document this wonderfully weird thing called pregnancy and childbirth.  However, I have spent the last three hours trying to make this blog look like something other than what it does.  Colour schemes, background google searches and frequent trips to take something out of my foster dog's mouth before he chokes on it has made this a busy but non-productive evening.  It occurred to me that perhaps I should do that thing which this medium is for and blog.  Something.  Anything.  So here it is, my first post.  


Either Arthur is enjoying the thought of his new blog-savvy mama or he's annoyed at the funny hunched over position I've been sitting in.  I've been getting kicked, punched and head-butted in various parts of my uterus for about the amount of time since I've been working on this blog.  Sorry Arthur Bean my leg fell asleep and I'll feed you ice cream later.  


Well that's my first entry.  Inspiring isn't it?  Daddy Bean is home with said ice cream and a Studio Ghibli film I haven't seen so I really must be going.  Bye for now!
